SeaPort-E

SeaPort-e is the Navy’s electronic platform for acquiring support services in 22 functional areas including Engineering, Financial Management, and Program Management. The Navy Systems Commands (NAVSEA, NAVAIR, SPAWAR, NAVFAC, and NAVSUP), the Office of Naval Research, the United States Marine Corps, and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) compete their service requirements amongst 1800+ SeaPort-e IDIQ multiple award contract holders.

In 2011, the U.S. Naval Surface Warfare Center awarded an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Prime Contract to Component Sourcing Group (CSG) to provide a wide range of engineering, technical, and programmatic services and solutions.

Program Ceiling: $119 Billion (including award term options)
Available Order Types: CPFF, CPIF, CPAF, FFP, FPIF.
Scope: All aspects of professional support services and solutions required by the contract-specified clients.

Support from Component Sourcing Group under SeaPort-e is available to authorized users in All seven zones. CSG is committed to delivering client solutions that meet or exceed expectations.

In general, customers identify in what Zone the work is to be performed, create their standard solicitation package (less data not needed and covered by the already awarded SeaPort-e contract) and upload through the SeaPort-e portal. Through the portal, the RFP is published for competition to those prime contractors qualified in the Zone where the work is to be performed. Prime contractors in that zone submit their proposals through the SeaPort-e portal for evaluation. The Customer evaluates the proposals, and makes an award – straight forward and simple by comparison.

Component Sourcing Group will provide services in response to the Task Orders issued under this contract. Additionally, the Component Sourcing Group team will provide the following:

Strong technical team — Component Sourcing Group offers an experienced team with strong insights on Federal Agency needs, industry best practices, and state-of-the-art technologies. Component Sourcing Group has achieved an ISO 9001 certification to ensure the best practices for management and engineering services.
Cost effectiveness — A flexible contact with low administrative costs, utilizing a web-based, e-business procurement portal for increased efficiency and reduced cycle time.
Broad scope — Provides engineering, technical and programmatic support services (See Functional Areas Below).
Flexibility — A four-year base period $57.5 billion (U.S.) contract ceiling and one (1) five-year award period with ceiling of $62billion. Task orders are Cost-Reimbursement (CR), or Fixed Price (FP). Use of contractor teams and subcontractors is encouraged.

Component Sourcing Group was awarded capability across 7 geographical zones. Our team is able to offer services to CONUS and OCONUS areas. Component Sourcing Group will provide personnel, materials, facilities, equipment, test instrumentation, data collection and analysis hardware and software, and other services that will support the Navy in the execution of their missions.
